Review//Zebra Midliners

I don't do reviews very often, but I can't resist sharing my thoughts on zebra midliners which seem to be everywhere at the moment.

The pens I am talking about are these ones. They are called Zebra Midliners, and they are a mixture of marker and highlighter, with a highlighting tip at one end and marker one at the other. They come in a range of light colours and are nowhere near as bright as traditional highlighters.

I was inspired by seeing the pens around Instagram and Pinterest, and all the beautiful ways people were using them. Back around Christmas, I started looking into getting some for myself, and I finally ordered them about a month or two ago!

I was super excited when the pens arrived, and I jumped straight into using them. Overall, I cannot recommend them enough - they are my new favourite thing! I use them all the time, in my schoolwork, in my bullet journal and to beautify my notes.
Here are loads of positives and a couple of negative about the pens:
+ They come in so many beautiful colours - way more than typical highlighters would!
+ Double end - perfect for highlighting and outlining/colouring/drawing

+ A much softer colour pallet than typical highlighters, which I much prefer!

+ Don't bleed through the pages of my bullet journal

+ The text is still really easy to read when using them for highlighting.

+Thin and easy to write with, unlike normal highlighters
+Super light and don't take up too much space

+There are so many colours - and unusual colours (compared to normal highlighters) so you can colour code forever and ever - there is nothing worse than when you are trying to colour code and running out of different colours.

- Sometimes, when the ink is fresh, the highlighters make the ink run slightly on the paper - so just make sure it is dry first!

I absolutely love my Zebra midliners, and I would definitely recommend getting some if you have been considering it, or love making your notes beautiful!
