Moving to a new bullet journal

In October of 2016, I wrote my first bullet journal post (if you haven't seen it yet - check it out here). Since then I have been experimenting a lot more with my bullet journal, and working out what works for me. This year I have finally started making it a regular part of my life- and I use my bullet journal daily. It is a great way to keep some space in my mind- I can write things down instead of having to try and remember them. Recently, I got a new bullet journal, I have just started migrating to it. I can't wait to share some photos with you today.

If you are interested the pens I use are:
And the journal:

The first page in bullet journal is a 2018 cover page, the inspiration came from pinterest- which is a great place to find inspiration and easy tutorials for people like me who aren't very good at drawing.

After this page, I created a combination of a year at a glance page and future log. The calendar allows me to circle/colour code the dates that are important, and the notes section on the other page allows me to write some more details about events. I know I missed May! I've fixed it since the photo was taken.

The next page is a 2018 memories page. Around the heading I am going to write some of the things I enjoyed during the year, I have to catch up from the start of the year, but things such as holidays, or time with friends, will go on this page.

Next up is my blogging calendar. And this shows one of the amazing things about the bullet journal - make it work for you. If you have a YouTube channel, create a YouTube calendar. My calendar goes over a few pages so that there is space for the entire year.

Next up is my school calendar. This page will allow me to write down any test/assignments for the term in the same place as everything else.

Then I have books that I want to read/movies to see. I always find that I read a good sample, or watch a trailer and then I completely forget about the movie/book and never end up reading/watching it.

Then comes my April set-up. It's autumn where I live at the moment, so my theme for April was autumn leaves. I've never done a spread with lots of colours like this - but I love the way it worked out!

Have  a great week,
xxxPoppy
